Lovely picture in the sunshine. I am continually amazed at the natural variation in the Cigar and Ravello shell. My Cigar PTB are a really dark brown while my Ravello chukkas are closer to your Cigar longwings. Get a pair of LHS loafers and you’ve got the full monty!

really liking those loden mocs. can you tell me how you find the fit of the van last as compared to the barrie/true balance. i have some wide toes, so those lasts do me well but i have my eyes on some van lasted shoes in the near future. thanks so much.
I wear the same size for Van, Barrie, and Trubalance. I find the toe box of the Van to be similarly roomy.

Nice blog; looks like I found it a few month too late, but satisfactory nonetheless. I really like your black calf Indys; I currently have a brand-new, unworn pair of brown chromexcel that I am debating turning in for a pair of the black. Which do you favor more? My thinking is that the brown is becoming a tad cliche, esp w/ J Crew offering a pair and all. I could be over thinking things, and would ultimately like both, in time.
